When should post-construction window cleaning happen?+
After the trades are out and the dust has settled — ideally as one of the last items before the final walk-through or CO inspection. Cleaning too early means construction dust resettles on the glass; we schedule against your punch list so the windows are spotless on handover day, not the week before.
Can you remove stickers, paint overspray, stucco, and silicone from new windows?+
Yes — that's the core of the job. Manufacturer stickers and adhesive, paint and texture overspray, stucco splatter, silicone haze, and mortar spots all come off with the correct solvent and technique for each contaminant. What we never do is dry-scrape debris across the pane.
Will razor blades scratch our brand-new glass?+
They can — and on new construction the risk is real. Tempered glass often carries fabricating debris (tiny glass particles fused to the surface during manufacturing) that a careless razor pass drags across the pane, leaving permanent scratches. We use a wet-scrape protocol, test an inconspicuous corner first, and document any pre-existing damage before we start.
